Policies
Terms of service
This policy is written for a capability mock. It has not been reviewed by counsel, it is not published, and the values marked draft are business decisions that are not yet made.
What this store is
This storefront is an investor-facing capability demonstration for the Smart Cap reminder prototype. It exists to show how the product and its evidence boundary would be presented on a commerce platform. It is not an offer to sell, and no contract of sale can be formed through it.
Not a medical device offer, and not medical advice
Smart Cap is a reminder concept. Nothing in this store is medical advice, and nothing here should be used to make a decision about taking, skipping, or changing a medication. Always follow the directions of your prescriber and pharmacist.
The prototype's evidence boundary is part of these terms:
- The device can record that a cap was opened or closed, and when.
- The device cannot establish that medication was removed or taken, that the correct medication or dose was taken, or that any clinical outcome followed.
- An opening event is not proof that a dose was taken.
Regulatory classification of this specific hardware and software combination has not been confirmed. No clearance, approval, or certification is claimed, and the compliance signal has not been clinically validated.
Prices and availability
Any price shown, including $34.99, is a working target used for design and planning. It is not a live offer, it is not held, and it may change. No inventory exists.
Acceptable use
Use the store for evaluation. Do not attempt to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities without authorization, scrape it at volume, or misrepresent it as a live commercial offering.
Intellectual property
The storefront design, copy, generated 3D asset, and prototype documentation remain the property of their owner. The demonstration may be shared for evaluation; it may not be republished as a commercial storefront.
Disclaimer and liability
Draft: the demonstration is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent permitted by law. Final disclaimer and liability language must be drafted by counsel for the jurisdictions in which the product is offered.
