Generating the cap at real scale
The storefront model is generated from a script rather than modeled by hand, so the 58 mm cap on screen is 58 mm in the file, and in AR.

An opening event is the compliance signal, and it has a hard edge. Naming that edge in the storefront was a design decision, not a legal afterthought.
